Beware to those that dare to read my ill-formed rhetoric! ;D

Sooo, this week is my spring break. I was planning on writing and uploading another piece to newgrounds by the end of the week; I had actually already written about a minute of music, but then my ear started bothering me on Monday. I went to the doctors today and it turns out I've got a pretty bad ear infection. :( I'm taking antibiotics and it should be cleared up by next week, but until then I won't be able to work on any music. As long as everything goes well, I should be able to finish the piece sometime within the next 2-3 weeks, so look out for that!

In other news, I entered the Marvin Hamlisch Film Scoring Contest and submitted my entry at the beginning of the month. Fingers crossed to hoping that I get selected as a finalist! I'll find out if I'm a finslist near the beginning of April. I won't be able to share that music until after the contest is over in June, but that'll be like ~10 minutes of fun to look forward to.

I also have a choral piece that will be premiered at a music composition recital at my university. That piece is a little bit stranger, as it falls under the 'art music,' category, but if anyone's interested I'll be uploading that to soundcloud after the premiere on April 9th.

Two more months 'till I finish my sophomore year of college! Gonna be starting atonal melodies in sight-singing pretty soon. Hopefully that doesn't kill me too much and I manage to make it out alive. :P
